Scholarships

Schools do not freely share that information. Some may tell you they are fully funded, others may tell you they are not fully funded, some may tell you exactly how many they have. They are under no obligation to divulge that information.

Thanks CPLZ - Just starting the recruiting process with my 2012 and starting to investigate some different schools.

If the boy has real good academics you won't have to worry about how many baseball scholarships are available at any school---academics are now in play more than ever before

i remember awhile back there was a site that listed funding by sport at colleges.

i'll scrounge around and see if i can find it.

in any event, you can ask that question when you start dialogues with a school.

Thanks TRhit, he has a 3.0 at a private, college prep school - probably not good enough to turn any heads in the academic area particularly when looking at class rank. The 3.0 is rising however after a less than stellar freshman year. I'm guessing his ACT will be in the 25-27 range.

Thanks for the link. Neat comparing schools in the Upper Midwest to schools in the south.Seems like a lot more money moves in the southern states in almost all catagories.
