There is no such thing as a 4 year scholarship in college baseball, all scholarships are renewable each year.

So after a season , a school could just not renew your scholorship?

Yes most coaches renew it automatically but they can decide to take it away, lower it or increase it. They have an exit meeting with each player at the end of the year an let you know what will happen next year.

So if I am understanding some of the threads on this website correctly, a scholorship can be raised by freed up scholorship room or performance right? If a scholorship is pulled can the player then transfer?

Athletic scholarships have to renewed each year, most are but some schools will take them away to make room for other players, if you have it taken away, you still can't transfer without sitting out a year coming from and going to a DI school.

It could be raised but I think it is fairly rare.
You can transfer subject to the rules of the division. D1 to D1 you have to sit 1 year

It only depends on the division the player is transferring to. If a player transfers from any 4 year school to a D1, he typically has to sit for one year. If a player transfers from a D1 to any other division, then typically he can play immediately.

D1 rules only apply to players who are participating at a D1 school. When a player transfers, he then becomes subject to the rules of the new division.
