My Son is a good high school player, and an excellent student. He is interested in playing for an Ivy for the academic excellence and the (maybe more attainable) D. 1 baseball.
He has been invited to be on a Scout team this summer.However, I never know what is true and what's not.
Would this Scout team help his chances of making an Ivy (he's not looking for a starting job, just wants to make the team)

if you are in the ne, contact the ivy baseball teams with his current schedule. I saw an ivy at my sons game yesterday. Academics is the key; make sure the college advisor knows your intentions. I would also cast a wider net and take SAT prep classes for a 2000+ score.
