Scouts and Coaches Contacting Players

If it is a tournament they have gotten player information from the sponsors. If not, they will approach the coach. Some do approach the player as well, but we did not find that to be the case in our situation. If it is during a time when he can speak directly to him, it is possible.
I have to admit the best letter that my son received was hand written from an Ivy League coach who had seen my son play one afternoon and immediately sent a letter in the mail without waiting to get back to his office.

Virtually that same senario played out two weeks ago for our son.
We just returned from that schools invite only camp that only had thirty to thirtyfive kids playing games for two days.
This process is quite an adventure to say the least.
