Sadly,we were knocked out in our regional tournament today,so our season is over.We had so many injuries this season, that this almost seemed like a lost year(6 starters were missing at one point due to injuries)

Im sad because a lot of the seniors on this years team have been teammates of mine long before high school.Especially in high school, where I spent everyday from 8:30-6pm with them,we grew even closer. Its just tough to see it end in the manner it did.The comradery that was built between a lot of those guys is something that will long stick with me,and Ill never be able to thank them enough for taking me in as a freshman and being friendly towards me when some of the upperclassmen weren't as friendly. Its been a tough season, and a very tough day.

I go to Perfect game in one month,so I plan on continuing to work on my swing, and get back into the weight room to get a little bigger before I go.

I have so enjoyed reading all of your posts and look forward to many more as you go through this baseball journey.
Life is about chapters and while this is the end of one,..you have to remember it is also the beginning of another.

.....and I have a hunch that you too have touched their lives as well.
The bond between baseball team mates can be a thick one. Chances are, your paths will cross again..... they always seem to.
Sounds like these guys layed the ground work and made a good impression on you. The torch is being passed. As you get older, remember the comradery, the good times and the bad, but especially remember how these older guys made you feel. As you grow and become the upper classman, remember to take that underclassman under your wing and show him the ropes. Remember how it felt to be included and remember how much it meant to you.

....somehow I don't think you really need a reminder. Wink

Best of luck at the PG event. ( sooo glad you get to go!!!! ) Your baseball friends in Kansas will be rooting for ya!
