Hey guys,
It's been a very long time since I've been on here. I am looking to gather some advice. In the spring, I was a junior, and did not play to my potential. Due to a handfull of personal reasons that I now have sorted out, my focus was not there for the entire season. I batted .150, but still had the least amount of errors on the team defensively. After such a down year, how do I sell myself to college coaches? I feel that I can't carry JV stats with me my entire life. Thanks

Daron, glad to have you back. And glad you to hear you have moved past your distractions.

If you are playing for a summer team that gets exposure to scouts, your problem should take care of itself as they see your performance and your tools in the next couple of months. If not, make sure to attend a Perfect Game showcase and perhaps some camps or showcases that are put on by schools you are interested in. Don't delay in making your plans -- time is of the essence. Good luck!
