Julie (MN-Mom), the site owner, administrator, and overtime, level-headed peacekeeper of the HSBBW deserves a break! Let's ChipIn $1000 to help her get on a plane and into a nice, warm-weather hotel for a few nights, and where she can watch some college baseball this spring!

Nice call Krak...she is looking a bit frayed.

Here's some good stuff that should take care of that...and don't forget her corners. They're lifting a little.

I try...I really do. But some how or other each of my rather elaborate, somewhat educational, and low brow entertaining trips that I organize ends up with all of us in my ol' Chrysler staring dejectedly at this...



Even my last passenger couldn't entice me to take a different route that would end up somewhere interesting...



I tell you what...I was plenty full and riding quite a sugar high after that trip!

Nice! Already sitting at a couple hundred bucks from seven people. If every active member just chips in ten bucks, imagine the warm places Julie could go, and where Julie could stay! Right now, I've got her reserved in the No-Tel Mo-Tel in Gaye's Mills, Wisconsin.

Every couple hundred bucks will get Julie further south and into nicer digs, so come on people, let's go!!

Oh my goodness, you guys are so sweet!

Twins Fest (kickoff to MN Twins season) is this weekend here in Minneapolis. Every year at Twins Fest we dream of going to Spring Training, but we've only gone about every third year. We had decided we couldn't afford it this year, but according to Krak's fund, my airfare is already half paid for!

We are going!

That sounds beautiful, but it will definitely be Spring Training. Fort Myers, FL area sometime in March (dates TBD). Twins games and any college games we can drive to! Big Grin

Nicer digs? That was my where we spent our honeymoon. Drifting on an inter-tube down a drainage ditch, the sights and smells of cow pastures, messaging my wife's shoulders with mosquito repellent, warm tap beer and pork rhines at Flo's, and snipe hunting under a full moon. Lifetime memories.

Under a full moon rz? Sheesh...anybody can do that! Try it when there's no moon out at all and with cucumber slices taped over your eyelids...in the median of I-90. Now that's snipe hunting!

Okay, with what we have now, I've been able to book Julie as far as Beardstown, Illinois. Hopefully there's a nice farmer's field around there, because it would be a stretch to get to I-72 for a landing.

More jet fuel, folks!! We can do this!! Five bucks, ten bucks, whatever, every dollar is more jet fuel for the plane and more cowbell for the effort!

Okay folks, this is as far as we can get Julie as of now....


But we can hire this guy to pick her up and continue south with a new push!


Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed so far, from $5 to $50, it all adds fuel for the trip!

[hmmmmmmm....apparently Disney doesn't like it's images linked....they showed up fine for five minutes, now they are GONE!]
