cyclonescatch: Before you start sending off letters, try to get an acturate assessment of your skills from your high school and or/travel coach. All levels, DI, DII, DIII and NAIA coaches look for the same "skill set". I's a matter if they can attract the particular athelte to their school that has these skills and the academics to get in their school and stay there.

Never send a coach a introduction letter without mentioning your GPA or ACT score(if you have taken it) Stats do not matter much to a coach, it is the skills you can offer.

Keep in mind DII schools offer scholarships just like DI and many times the competition is just as comparable.
