My son graduated from high school a few weeks ago. His school requires that ALL seniors complete a project based on the S P I R I T acronym that stands for Scholarship, Passion, Integrity, Reflection, Involvement, & Teamwork. It's basically a quick review of the first eighteen years of his life according to him.

He will be leaving for college in a couple months from now. I'm going to miss him, but I'm extremely grateful that he'll be close to home. After watching his video, I realized how he's matured over the years...physically and emotionally. I'm proud that he's my son.

Hopefully this works...I received his permission to share his senior exit project, here it is:

Thank you. I've seen your son play, and there's no doubt you'll be in my Boat WITH your son playing ball. Like your son, my daughter is a 2012, so our family is planning some college trips over the summer...we're going to be very busy!

BTW, we'll be out your way next week for the Connie Mack Western Regional Qualifier in Tempe...do me a favor, and keep the heat down below 105 degrees! Cool

Thoroughly enjoyed the video!

He will no doubt be a huge success in college and beyond in professional baseball because he has already learned the secret lesson on how to succeed in life... "Don't procrastinate - do your homework!"

My wife and I teased him about that CD. Now I remind him about procratination...and yard work! Wink
