It's my understanding the coaches can only send mailed info as of 9-1. They can contact you by other means on 7-1.

Well, the rules could have changed since 6 years ago...but it used to be that personalized emails and snail-mails were fine after 9/1 of junior year. Phone calls, once a week, after 7/1 heading into senior year.

Marlins - I'm not sure I'd read too much either way about what happens on or about 9/1 with mail. I think any really serious stuff for a 2011 has already begun with them contacting your HS or summer coaches. But feel free to contact them again anytime...its nice for them to know as well that you're interested.
