I don't know if I'll ever play D1 baseball, but there's some I'm curious about. Do any of you know anything about...

University of Southern California

University of Notre Dame

Stanford

Wake Forest

Georgetown

...or any others you can suggest?

yankee...First thing that you should do is go to their websites and check out the schools academically; and, then look at their baseball programs.

You have to decide what you are looking for in the various programs other than a listing of names.

There are people on this site who have sons that were 1st round draft choices. Others have sons that are in the Majors. Tons of others have sons knocking on the door of the big leagues while honing their skills in the minors.
Plenty have kids in programs from the junior college level to D1.

If I were you, I would check out the websites of each of these schools and come back with specific questions.

Just a thought...If someone is sending you mail, that doesn't necessarily mean that they will be "recruiting" you later. Too often, it means that they are looking to get to know you better and gauge your skills by inviting you to a summer skills camp.

Have a great spring season in cold, cold Minnesota.
USC and Stanford are two of the most storied programs in college history. Wake Forest usually is very good and very competitive in the ACC, which I regard as the best league in America, Notre Dame is the finest team in the northern states, year-in and year-out, although the Big East is a mid-level league. Georgetown, also of the Big East, does not give baseball scholarships and most times is an embarassment to the game. They are all among the finest schools academically.
