SGV BASEBALL will be hosting the 10th annual SoCal Cup showcase July 28/29 at Maverick Field in West Covina. The SoCal Cup brings together top talent from the Southern California Area. Many top draft picks and college players have participated in the event. Many players current players in the Major League have participated in the past. The Showcase is well attending by colleges and scouts. In 2012 This year we are excited with the growth of the event with more out of area colleges attending. The showcase is features many top players. From the 2011 showcase more than 20 players moved on to D1 colleges with many 2013's committed and 20 more players moved on to lower levels. Two first round picks and a total of 5 players taken with the first 6 rounds participated in 2011.
The Cost of the showcase is $125.00. We keep the price low so get every player a chance to participate and get noticed. We will review each application. A reference from a scout, HS coach or college is a plus. We will take a limited amount players per position. Each player will take a infield/outfield and play three games over the two days.
