History and Weekend
The event was started 9 years ago to showcase the talent of Southern California. The SGV program took over the event 3 years ago and built on previous success. The event is attended by many college recruiters and MLB scouts.
Each Participant will play 3 games over the weekend against some of the top talent in Southern California
Colleges attending and/or that have attended in the past: USC, UCLA*, Arizona State, Arizona*, Oregon*, Stanford, Cal*, Fullerton*, Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara*, Northridge*, UC Davis, UC Irvine*, Cal Poly SLO, LMU*, Pepperdine, St. Mary’s, USD, USF*, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, San Diego State*, Fresno State, New Mexico*, UNLV, Nevada, Hawaii, Butler*, Stony Brook*, Cornell*, San Jose State*, Dartmouth, Long Island U*, Fordham*, Washington*, Indiana, Texas Christian*, Cal Poly Pomona*, Cal State LA*, Cal State Dominguez Hills*, Cal Baptist, Azusa Pacific, Westmont, Mt. Sac, Cerritos, more to be added.....All MLB teams have been represented at the showcase.
