I just got a wilson a2k and I am breaking it in to play for 3rd base shortstop and second base, should I flare it because I have heard both good and bad things about the flare? Do you guys flare your thumb and pinky?

"Flaring" the glove tends to be more of a 2nd basemen thing to help with the double play. You don't see it as much with shortstops and even less with 3rd basemen. It really is a matter of personal preference. I never liked it.

Son has a 11.5 TPX flare when he plays SS and a 11.75 when he plays 3B. He loves the flare in the glove. He has played with HOH and A2000. He says the Pro Flare is lighter and his favorite. Agree that it is a personal thing.
flare thumb but roll fingers for 11.5 Rawlings HOH was always my preference for middle infield.
