And here we all thought we were done dealing with toddlers ... well, MOST of us are done dealing with toddlers.

It can get wild and wooley out there on some of the forums,...whooooa Nelly!!

Thats why its always a pleasure ( and lowers my blood pressure too ) to be able to escape over here with the gals and chat,.... where manners and civility dont take a back seat, smells kinda nice too and not so much mud being slinged back and forth.

Its a place of understanding and support.
where no one purposely wipes their dirty hands on our clean guest towels just to get a rise out of us!

The ladies forum has always been a good place to prop our feet up,..and recharge for the next round!- ha! Big Grin

Hi fellow moms! I am new here, and just wanted to pop over here and say hello. I'm a mom of 4, with only one baseball player. Not sure about the youngest he's only 4, just don't know what sport/s he may be into when he grows up. We're still trying to get the "handidness" down, it looks like he's a lefty. My baseball player is 13, in 8th grade. My two older ones(boy & girl)don't play baseball! That's my quick story. I enjoy this site because baseball is a big part of my life. I read alot of the other forums, even the "wild and wooley" threads out there! lol I definately get lots of advice and insights from this site! Smile
BaseballGr8 ...

Welcome to the wild and wooley ... oh wait, this is the soft side of the HSBBW. Welcome to the site. Rest assured that we other baseball moms understand the love of the game, the commitment, and the joy we experience watching our sons (some occasional daughters also) playing a wonderful sport.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away here. Moms seem to have a different take on things when it comes to their children's involvement in any activity, so this lounge is a good place to deal with special questions etc.

Look forward to 'hearing' more from you.

Mary Ann
Thanks FBMom! I've been lurking around HSBBW since the summer, and started posting recently. I do come here several times a day just looking for all the great advice and stories. As I said my ball player is in 8th grade, so I'm not an official HS Baseball mom yet. He is on his school modified team, and I am really looking forward to watch him play on his MS team. He's also doing travel ball including many summer tournaments this year. He's been playing since about age 7. I do love to watch him play, especially since I've loved baseball since a kid myself! Thanks for the welcome!
