Call it a Nat'l Championship, instead of "worlds".

I like the idea a lot! I am sure the high school administrators could come up with a million reasons why the answer should be no.

And of course we would first need to get California to have a state championship! Ha

What this would do would give National exposure to some kids that otherwise may never get the chance.

It will never happen for the simple reason that all states are indifferent in terms of when school is out in the spring/summer. Here in the NE. for example, it isnt til the end of June when exams are completed and school is out

And what about the states where the schools play their HS season in the early summer

It'll never happen. California doesn't even have a state championship. Our CIF runs till the final weeks of school.
