--PG Sunshine East (held in Florida at the end of May but for all schools/players in SE U.S.)

--Top96 always runs a few showcases in the SE, from Annapolis and Christopher Newport and then south.

--Blue-Grey always has showcases in GA, SC, NC, and VA in the summer.

--Head First showcase in Richmond in August--two different showcases held back-to-back--by all accounts, an incomparable event, especially if the player is a good student.

--Individual college showcases.
If he has an idea where he would like to play and attend college, first check those school's web sites - good chance they have their own camp or showcase. You might also consider having your son call/write/Email the coaches at those schools to find out what showcases they plan to attend this summer.
That said, you can also look into the following showcases: Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Young-Harris JC, and thediamondprospects.com.
TPX Top 96 camps/showcases are also held throughout the summer in GA, SC, NC, and VA.
There are undoubtedly more options, many of which are posted elsewhere on this web site or can be found with a little searching.
These things are really very simple. First study the websites of the top colleges (if that is what you are interested in) and look for clues. Search the college's last few recruiting classes and find out what those players did. If possible ask the coaches of those schools what events you should attend and which ones they follow. If possible talk to the players or their parents, that might be difficult. Could require a little research and some googling, but you will find the answers that you're looking for.
