Hey Everyone. I'm a junior in high school who destroyed JV pitching last year and got called up. This year I'm pretty much assured of the starting outfield job.

My dream is to play college ball, and I think I have the talent, but my high school isn't one of the premier high school in the nation that get scouts sitting in the stands every game.

I'm pretty sure I have to attend some showcases come summer, my family can't afford to be throwing thousands of dollars at this.

I'm just looking for general advice here.

Don't sit back and wait for those coaches to come "find you". Get after it and show them your interested. Shoot them an e-mail, include some information about yourself. Don't brag, be honest. Let them know why you're interested in their school and what you offer.

Thanks for posting Jersy Coach; although my high school coach says I have the talent to play college baseball, will the colleges not be interested in me because of my lack of varisty experience thus far?

Thanks again.

There are alot of options out there for summer showcases. Playing on a good travel team is very important. Keep on working hard. Don't let your high school coach keep you from your determined work ethic. That is yours and don't change that. If you haven't work extra hard, then start now!

My clinics will assist you in exposure by my impressive list of instructors. You will learn, get evaluated and play a game. Its a great thing. Thanks for signing up and stay in touch.
