Years ago -- when I was a still young pup, I recall weekly excitement -- waiting for the arrival of SI. I have subscribed on & off for a few decades now but times have changed, eh?
What do you guys (and gals) think of today's SI? It's just not the same for me. It has become a regional magazine with few "feature" articles and only small doses of outstanding journalism. I understand that the Internet has had a significant impact on print media and that BLOGS and e-new letters have nearly replaced old-time periodicals......but, other than special preview issues, I miss my old SI.
