Anybody have any good ideas for signs, the previous coach used a complex technigue with adding and subtracting and being in the coaches box and out. I want to make it much simpler for the kids. Any sugestions.. I will start out small and work from their. Maybe indicator, 2nd sign or so on. Let me know.

I agree w/ Lamber touches is by far the easiest for everyone. Make sure to mix in a wipe off sign.
for example touches of the hat:
1 - bunt / squeeze
2 - steal
3 - hit n run
face - wipe off

then you can run different types of steal by touching twice then have an additional sign following the two touches. Like steal on two looks and second you would give two touches and right after the second touch you show 2 fingers.

the easiest i agree is by the touch pattern...its used in college when i was there and in the minors...got more complex though at each level...switched it up ever even and odd innings with different idicators...in hs though (im not telling you how to coach) but kids only need to know a few signs...go with the touch pattern...my recommendation is the arm....good luck
