This from a Mizzou fan site -- not sure why I was there.....Cool

Perfect Game has released their ambitious Top 100 College Teams, 2009. Missouri is ranked 19th, with Kyle Gibson named as MU's top professional prospect (each team has their top pro prospect listed). Mizzou's 2009 opponents on the list (and their top prospects:

#2 Texas A&M (Barret Loux, RHP)
#4 Texas (Brandon Workman, RHP)
#7 Baylor (Kendal Volz, RHP)
#12 Arizona State (Mike Leake, RHP)
#14 Oregon State (Josh Osich, LHP)
#18 Oklahoma State (Andrew Oliver, LHP)
#31 Oklahoma (Garrett Richards, RHP)
#44 Missouri State (Tim Clubb, RHP)
#57 Gonzaga (Ryan Carpenter, LHP)
#58 Nebraska (Mike Nesseth, RHP)
#85 Texas Tech (Chad Bettis, RHP)

Does anyone know where some of these guys pitched in summer ball? Wink

John, not only am I getting old but you are so predictable. I knew that statement would flush you out of the closet. How are things going these days with your son's team? Saw you merged under the guidance of Frozen Ropes, thats really good and I hope things continue to go well. When is the league meeting?

Ahhh,

And to think, it all started on a splintered wooden bleacher up somewhere in Horsefeathers, Texas.

Years later we have s-o-l-e-s selling to devils, Marshalls riding Mustangs, and the Black and Blue trading their flag for the Red, White, and Blue.

It's funny how things happen.

But in the end, we all can have memories of different kinds. Some create a "Wall of Fame" of sorts to portray success. Others debate to find the best team or player in history. Some simply cherish the little things that aren't tangible or visible.

What's that I hear? Chooo Chooo.......

Yep, it's the Peace Train. Get your ticket and jump on board.

My wife says I am anything but unpredictable.....LOL. We have a BBI Board mtg tonight and I'll make sure to set a date for the BBI Premier coaches mtg.

The 7U Knights are having a ball, thanks for asking. Good instruction, lots of fun and we're keeping it cheap for the families. Wait until you see the unis and gear....my friends at Dbat should be duly impressed. Our little team is actually taking a road trip to Austin in April to see Workman as well as Thomas, Rupp and the rest of the Horns play Kansas State. Hope we end up with some boys that turn out to be like the kids on this list.

Gut, I recall that conversation like it was yesterday. You would be proud to know that out of all the player nicknames on this year's team we have a 'Peanut'.

Good times.
