how do you sink a fastball (turn it over?). is a sinker a good out pitch or should it be thrown all the time. also how much of a difference of velocity should there be between a sinker and a 4 seam.

A sinker can be thrown about 5 mph slower than your fastball. I like to throw it straight down as more of a power sinker.
