Eli: first of all, welcome to the board. I see you are somewhat new. Thanks for sharing your video and the best to you as you seek to further your career.
I will comment what many others would, and much of my information has been gleaned from others.
First: if a recruiting video, call it that instead of a "skills" video. Let them know that you are looking to take your game to the next level, not just generally showing your skills for travel leagues or having youtube fun. (BTW turn off comments on youtube once you get your final cut. Nothing worse than the annonomous baseball "star" posting silliness on your hard work.)
Second: it is too long by about two minutes . The good news is that you can easily shorten it. Cut out most all of your cage swings. A few from the side view is fine. Even better, if you can get on a field to do the hitting video it will look more professional and standard. Five of your best swings from a side view should suffice.
Cut the fielding stuff down to four or so of your best plays with one roller right at you, one to glove side, one backhand side and one that you have to charge and throw.
Get one of you making your best throw to first. One, maybe two, at most.
No need for double plays.
Get a video of yourself running a 60 against another guy. Or if you have an official 60 time, llist it.
As you mentioned, game footage. At bat and fielding. I would mute your mom screaming in the background. Maybe right after the hit and before the screaming hit mute. Don't forget Defense.
Check out perfect Game's showcase videos for position players. They will give some good ideas. Youtube "baseball recruiting video" and see if that doesn't give you more direction too.
Don't be tempted to use music as a background. Common idea is that coaches don't appreciate it. Perhaps they've heard "Gonna put a cap in it" a few too many times. I don't know.
