Skillshow video at PG event?

Holden or anyone else--would love to read your response to this, as Skillshow makes a big push to sell the video as a recruiting tool ("college coaches can't be everywhere so if you want them to see you play, our video is the best way to do it" sort of pitch). Seems like quality stuff from the samples they let you see. But it is $300 for video of a PG "tryout." Do college coaches really ever look at these things?

Why spend $300 when there is YouTube?

I like to see vidoes that are done by profressionals,not done by Mom or Dad in the backyard

Okay, we know what BOF thinks. Holden, anyone else? Do college coaches ever look at these things or at Baseball Factory's videos, or even at YOUTUBE or videos a kid sends in himself?

4thGen has a video on line and DVDs available. Every school that has shown interest has watched him and some have made arrangements to see him based solely on his academics and what they see on video. Some smaller schools seem to be recruiting him pretty hard with no plans to see him except on video.

It is not enough in most cases but it's hard to know how a school with decide a kid can play there. Why not make it easy for them?

Yes, they watch the videos. Yes, they seem to work.
