I saw that one of the college camps are selling a workout package that contains the Sklz Weighted baseballs (10oz. and 12oz.). I tried to find out what kind of training they do with these baseballs but it's not out on the web. Is anybody familiar with the Sklz workout? I'm already familiar with using weighted baseballs to increase velocity but not this heavy. I'm always looking for something new.

Johnny is right on. I dont know what they do with the 10 & 12 oz. balls but that should not be used for throwing purposes. With some of the kids I work with, we use the heavy weighted balls (over 6 oz.) for shoulder strengthening. I have the player sit on a stability ball a few feet from a pitch back and work on getting the hand and arm back and coming forward through the ball. But like I said this is done from maybe five feet away in a controlled way.
