Smart move going to turf. They wouldn't be playing for another month on grass and dirt.
We are supposed to get up to 6 inches of snow overnight tonight! I am hoping the weathermen are playing an April Fools Joke thou!!??!!

It is a college team - Concordia College (MN) Cobbers. Cool photos (or should I say 'cold photos'?). Thanks for posting!
Guess it's not so bad here in Michigan - son's HS freshman team opens today - expected high of 39. At least the snow finally melted.

Whew! I did a quick search and found a high school from Minn that goes by that name, went back and looked at the pics again. I thought Holy Cr@p! That's a scary looking high school team!

Us Northerners know the the name of these little packets of warmth is a little misleading. While sitting at our early season games that are typically played on days when the temperature is in the 30's I never use these things for my hands...I always stuff them somewhere where the snow don't fall. They work best that way. Toasty!
