Here locally in Winchester in the ballpark of 28-30" and with a little more to come Tuesday/Wednesday.
I just do not see anyone getting on a baseball diamond here locally until 1st or 2nd week of March and that might be pushing it.
Think about it, 30" of snow that needs to melt and then the ground needs probably at least a week to hopefully dry out.
Shenandoah University will be hit hard by this!
No doubt about it, all local HS baseball tryouts will be inside!
Another thing ... everyone's baseball field up here looks the same but just very white. These snow storms will nothing but help the brand new SOD that was installed on "THE BRIDGE" (Bridgeforth Field) back in November.
