For all those in the Mid-Atlantic, snuggle up with your honey tonight and dream about baseball...well maybe not. Hang in there it will melt soon. For those in the West dealing with rain and mudflows. It is going to dry out next week.

We have our kickoff tournament next week-end. 2 days of baseball round the clock. The official CIF HS baseball season starts a week from Monday the 14th. Baseballzilla baby.

Pre-season tournament in our part of North Alabama (supposedly the deep south?) starts Monday Feb. 15. 7 day forecast has the Friday before with a high of 38. Great. Every summer when I'm at a game around noon and it's 100 degrees and miserable, I think of these HS season games when we're freezing and I stop complaining. Give me heat over cold every time.

It's 47 degrees in Vancouver, the site of the winter olympics. It's even to warm to make snow!
