Some Info these tourneys??

The Fun in the Sun is always very competitive and boasts some of the very best teams in Illinois. Looking at the entry list so far -- http://diamondsportspromotions.com/Teams/HIGHSCHOOLBASEBALL7.php -- the entries are a little sparse yet. But I got my team entered and I'm looking forward to a good 4th of July in Carbondale.

TheOutfielder30: Fun in the Sun- Director Mike VanHorn runs a great tournament and the convention bureau welcomes the event with open arms. The fields- John Logan, SIU and others are some of the best in Illinois. Competition will be tough good luck.

Fun in the Sun is a top notch tourney w/ a good mix of teams. Southern Illinois in July can be hot and sticky...know my son's team played 4 games on Sunday in one of the lower bracket playoffs and I think us parents ended up making about 5 trips for more water. That is one of the nice things Mike van Horn does w/this tourney...all teams advance into a Sunday playoff of some sort.

Sounds like Fun in the sun is the winner around here, i think we have to pick between fireworks on the hill and fun in the sun.Etheir one would be fine with me and i think our team can compete in both at a high level. i also metioned pastime touraments to my coach,they look really well organized and since their at pretty big colleges,it makes it even more fun as a player. but i know we will be at a lot of tourneys and maybe see some of your teams there.

Fun in the Sun will have more entries in late December and January....We will also play 5 GAMES ON THURSDAY at the New Minor League Stadium---All Artificial Turf-5,000 seat capacity....in Marion Illinois.
If your team is as far away as your listed address I would bet I can get you your Thursday game in the new STADIUM!
