137 has run the exceptional program in our area, and as a result they are able to get their feeders schools' best players to come out. Success breeds success, I guess you could say. Still, I see some JV names on that roster, which is cool, a chance for those guys to prove they're ready to move up.

The way things have been trending, it'd be a major upset if they didn't win the district.
Yes, it was beach week for the Cosby/Manchester/Clover Hill group. Post 137 was playing its fifth straight game without a chunk of there regular contributors, see below.

Christian Beyer, LF
Mitchell Shiflett, CF
Joey Cujas, 3B
Chris Ayers, C
Danny Mooney, P/1b
Ryan Morrison, P/1b

They had enough talent to get through their doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Yet, by Tuesday they seemed a little tired and struggled to keep up with a strong 201 team. Four sophomores (rising juniors) played a fair amount of the game.

I don't think 137 would try to make excuses. It is what is and you should just go out and play the game. It has been good experience for the younger guys.

I'd think they like where they are this early in the season. They played 10 games in 11 days. With a 9-1 record they have gotten off to strong start.
