Today, my son has decided to forego football and continue his pursuit of baseball.  I am a little sad, because I have always dreamed of watching him play QB for the home town team on under the Friday Night Lights.  Son had the potential to be a pretty good QB, and possibly play in college.  He is a drop back passer, with good arm, smarts, and leadership.  His only real draw back is his speed.  He is slow!  Anyhow, after returning from the PG Jr. National this week, he can see the gap that needs to be closed.  He is a 2015 6'4" 190 lb. LHP/1st Baseman (3.81 GPA), who threw 83 at the Showcase.  He had a wonderful time, and baseball has always been his first love.  Upon his return, he spoke to a D-1 Recruiter, who he is in regular contact with, and he told him they would be offering him soon.

Although I am a little saddened at the end of MY dream, I am very happy that HIS dream is becoming a reality.  I have said many times that my son is more mature than I am.  He has become a great human being, and I couldn't be prouder.
