Son pitching in wood bat league in New York this summer. Pitched in relief in 7th inning and went in with bases loaded and two outs with 7-4 lead. Struck out batter to end the inning and pitched two more scoreless innings to get the save. The most thrilling thing for him was the fact that the game was played on a field in the shadows of the old Yankee stadium where his namesake and Cy Young winner, Ron Guidry, pitched. It was like an out of body experience for him, he said.
