Im from NH and know about some kids in Bow(class M state champs 2003) that have lots of potential that are in their sophomore years. RHP throws low 80's as a sophomore and getting better and better every day. Has any one ever heard of players from Bow? If you havent, then you might in the near future.

Longball, it is very tough for players form NH to go to high level schools. Bow doesn't play in the best class in NH but it is possible for these kids to grow into very good players. RHP pitchers in the low to mid 80's are a dime a dozen. The important thing for this kid to do is develope a good breaking ball and a very good change up. Hard work is the way for kids from the north to make it to the D1 level, trust me I have doen it. So twll those kids from Bow to make sure they get seen, as much as possible ex. showcases (perfectgame, top96, selectfest). Remeber a lot of guys can throw hard but it doesn't mean they can get guys out. If you get guys out there will be a place for you to play. Good luck work hard in the weight room, on the field and especially in the classroom.
longball, your right it shouldn't matter, but if no one see's you how will they know you can play?you need to promote yourself. like ch34 say's showcases college camps etc.and legion ball can be a good way ,but coaches don't allways watch legion unless they have an interest in someone, or you make the tourney. just keep working hard. i know they can play good ball in bow, keep working hard
Just as an FYI, Collegiate Baseball listed the 5 "best" high school players in NH in a January issue. Two play Class L, one is Class I, one Class M, and one at Phillips Exeter. One of the Class L players is an '05, the others are '04.
It matters less where you play, more how you play. Keep working at the game, go to Showcases, play Travel ball, have fun! Good luck.
