hey yall, it's been a while since i've put anything up here but i really need some help. a couple of weeks ago i was closing out a game in this fall khoury league thing. i pitched great but when the last bater came up, my elbow started to hurt bad. the next game which was about 4 days after, i played third base and my elbow still hurt. then we had a week off and so i gave my arm a nice long rest. then on saturday i pitched and at first it didn't hurt too much, but then it got really bad again. if anyone has any idea what this could be, please help!

Just out of curiosity, where does it hurt around your elbow? No matter what the answer is you do need to go see a good sports doc or orthopedist who is familiar with pitchers. From your description it could be a serious problem or it could be medial epicondylitis which should resolve with a month or two of rest and a very gradual comeback.

If you can't make it to a doctor then you can try taking at least 6 weeks off from throwing at all and then find an interval throwing program to follow for your rehab. There's no guarantee that will work so your best bet is to go see a doctor because they might be able to get you back on the mound sooner and safer.
