Early in the season there was an article about Alfonso Soriano being afraid of the brick wall at Wrigley. I understand, but I don't see how he can play outfield in the major leagues if he's going to pull up every time he hits the warning track.
He just blew a home run today against the Pirates. He gave up just before he hit the PADDED wall and missed a ball that actually bounced off the top of the fence and back into play.
Umpires missed the call, the ball was in play but I wonder how much of a liability he is in the field. I don't watch all of the Cubs games and don't really root for or against them.
He's always seemed like a prissy prima donna.
