ECU has been on Hayden for about 3 months as a result of his performance with the Mid-Atlantic Red Sox. Along with ECU Hayden has had several offers on the table as a result of his excellent performance all fall long and especially at WWBA Underclass in Ft. Myer's.

Hayden will be looked at as a 2-way performer as he is a legitimate switch hitter with gap power. Probably will play on the corners at either 1st or 3rd, but his pitching is a huge upside as he sits 86 - 89 with a + curveball that he can throw in any count.

On top of all of that Hayden is a GREAT kid and comes from a GREAT family. He works extremely hard and is always one of the first ones to ask "How can I get better?" and for a kid that is already pretty darn good, that is saying a lot about what his ceiling could be.
