This is better. It has structure and lays out how it all works. I like the graduation clause, but I'm sure people will complain that their money is now being withheld from them when they don't graduate, get drafted early, etc.

I don't think players need to make money considering what they receive. Just an opinion. But I'm open to the idea of guys making money off their own image and name. If the NCAA or whoever else can find a middle ground where the guys can work towards future earnings while in school and there are rules for receiving that money then that may be where this is headed and it would be hard for people to say it isn't a fair compromise. But I'm sure there will be another starving football player on a full ride going on ESPN talking about how he can't eat because his money is being withheld or how his relative is being evicted but he can't give them the rent money because the NCAA is corrupt. There really is no situation in which the NCAA wins.

I'm all for it if they don't lose NCAA eligibility.  I wonder how many Trevor Lawrence jerseys have been sold in the past year by Clemson.  I think it is going to be hard to tell what is sold because of their name or likeness.  A jersey with just a number on it is not in that category.  I was watching this week and there little to no advertising that would fit into this category so what are they wanting to accomplish unless at that point they can start doing advertisements on their own.  That is not what is being discussed.  They are making it out like the college is making millions off of their names and likeness but that is not true on advertising which is what it is alluding to.  Help me understand.  The closest I have to it is where they put the starters on a billboard but they are not really selling anything.
