The South Troy(NY) Dodgers will be holding their tryouts on Aug 15 at 2pm and Aug 19 at 5 pm. Ballplayerwith a league age of 16-18 for 2005 are welcome. Tryouts are for the fall 2004/summer 2005 teams. The Dodgers play in AABC's Atlantic Coast Elite Wood Bat League. For more info and directions, please visit www.southtroydodgers.com

Congratulations to Paul Lemire and his Sweeney Post team and good luck next week in Middletown. Did Nick Koravos touch home plate? I've never seen this before, but in the second inning Nick hit a jack with the bases loaded - however only three runs scored because the umps ruled Nick didn't touch the plate!
