Coach Todd is my friend. He didn't win the game. According to your rationale, I need to contact the winning pitcher to satisfy you...which, I have to admit, isn't very high on my priority list.

My position as a moderator has nothing to do with anything. You can have the position if you want. Honestly, you just want a reason to complain about me. Next time, pick up the phone and call me. My number is very easy to find. If you can't, ask Coach Todd, Coach Ashnault or any of 5 GF players who know me personally. For you to insult me because I didn't give a "shout out" about a win and post something about wanting to watch Cisco & Allie throw is just plain nuts.

If you hve something to say to me, pick up the phone rather than waste bandwidth.

Here's some info from a report I read matthews41.

"Cisco tossed a complete game, allowing only four hits, striking out nine, guiding the Warriors to a 8-1 win over the Eagles at the 41st Annual Hanahan Invitational Tournament. Cisco beat Stetson Allie; both are considered two of the top pitching prospects in the nation.

Numerous Major League Baseball scouts were on hand clocking both pitchers, in front of a packed house at Hanahan's Sportsmans Field.

Wando entered the tournament No. 22 in the country, according to Rivals.com, while St. Edward came in No. 29.

Allie, who got clocked as high as 97 mph on Wednesday, was plagued by control issues.

The win puts Wando at 16-1 on the year; the lone loss coming on Tuesday against Grassfield."

Cisco, Wando HS, (Georgia bound) hovered around 87-89. Allie, St. Edward HS, (UNC bound) was 92-95 but erratic.
Nova HS 8 Great Bridge 5. A supporter of Nova HS stated that they won many of their games in the late innings. Despite Great Bridge's outhitting Nova, Great Bridge fell victim to that mode of play. GB had the lead 4 to 1 until the bottom of the 6th inning. Two of those four runs were solo homeruns hit by Anthony Stokes and Cam Czech. Then Nova had a 7-run 6th inning. The inning opened with a walk, a double and a HR. The fourth run of the inning was walked in with 2 outs. A few batters later, still in the 6th inning and with bases loaded (all via walks), the left fielder misplayed a fly ball and 3 more Nova runners scored to make the score 8-4. GB opened the top of the 7th with 3 straight singles. Vanassche plated one of those runners with a fielder's choice. The next batter flew out to left field and with Anthony Stokes at the plate and runners at 1st and 3rd, the game ended when the first base runner was tagged out trying to steal second. GB had 3 runners thrown out on base paths during the game. Given that GB pitchers walked or hit 12 of the Nova batters, they appeared to be running thin on pitching, using 6 pitchers in the game. There were three really nice defensive plays. In the fourth inning, GB turned a 3-6-5 double play with Justin Lee firing behind the runner who had ventured around third. In the fifth inning, Anthony Stokes, playing first at the time, backhanded a very hard hit ball to make the unassisted out at first. Two plays later, Cam Czech, playing third, backhanded a very hard hit ball behind third and threw the batter-runner out to end the 5th inning. If the game could only have ended after 5 innings. Smile
