Southeastern District Games: May 13-May 18 (Week 9)

Friday should be action packed! I feel like (4) and (5) have one hard road in front of them and hopefully we get to see some great games.

I checked the SE District site but no mention of location.  Is the District being held at NR again?  When will the semifinals games be held?  The District site has baseball on Friday then nothing again until Wednesday 5/22 http://www.southeasterndistric...rg/g5-bin/client.cgi .  Thought they would play semis on Monday?

The district playoffs are Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday!

It's at NR like it has been for several years. 3 vs 6 and 4 vs. 5 on Friday...Games pick back up at 5:30 on Tues.

nrbb07, your comment about the #4 and #5 seeds highlights the importance of last week's Hickory win over Western Branch.  Once again, one or two deserving SED teams will not go to Regionals!

No doubt man! I honestly feel like WB and GF could represent the District well, only reason I wouldn't put NR in their is the up and down year. They have good players just never did but things together this year. NR could make a run at it, but it's going to be tough. If they play 3 games like they did last Friday then Regionals is in reach. I don't see it though. 6 team district playoff really helped them and OS out this year!

You can thank the committee of principals that refuse to make the Baseball Region playoffs equal to Basketball and Football !!!
