Both pitchers threw well, Pingel for GB and Wiesner for DC, giving up 2 hits a piece.... the Difference being a walk to Upton in the 4th inning, picked off 1st but gets to 2nd, steals 3rd, and scores on a ground out...

It was a fantastic game to watch. Cornwell pitched for WB and Riggs pitched for NR. Cornwell started the game off solid with the game scoreless until 3 when Eric Berry hit a homerun over the leftfield fence. Riggs pitched a good game allowing only 5 hits and keeping WB scoreless through 5. The only two runs for WB came on a hard liner to right by Pond and then an error then a two run seeing eye single for Cornwell. Was an awesome game to spectate.
Nansemond River visits Great Bridge on Tuesday, should be an intense game.
