I am looking for a personal trainer for my son in the Southern Calif area. One who specializes in pitchers. My son wants to build more muscle over the summer, but I know with pitchers you need to be careful with the type of weights used. He turned 18 a few months ago and is highly modivated. I have talked to a few trainers in the local gym, but I dont think they had a clue regarding pitchers. Any recommendations would be apprecated. We live in OC but would travel in the So Cal area for the right guy. Thank you

dont just go to a personal trainer. identify the speific needs of the player ( speed, flexability, agility, velocity, etc.)

then find a program that specifically can work with/improve the deficiency.

veloity - Jager long toss program
speed - running coach (go to your local football coach)
flexability- yoga
agility- MVP type progam / pliometrics
muscle- gym trainer-nutrionist
