Fozz, need some additional help on the level of play and academics to be of real help. This might give you a sampling of what is available. On the DII side, you can look at Tampa and Rollins in Fla and Delta State in Miss. All are top DII's with Tampa and Rollins being high end on the academics. For DIII, Emory, Trinity U in San Antonio, and Milsaps College in Jackson, Miss. are top academic schools with highly rated baseball programs that are well supported.

Fozz, In Lexington, KY, there is Transylvania University(DIII), a very well respected academic school with a good baseball program. School is downtown. Field is off campus and is relatively new. A former teammate of my son is playing for them.

Georgetown College (NAIA) in Georgetown, KY. One of the nicest fields you'll find at the NAIA level. New Coach - very intense and passionate guy. Nice campus in a small town.

Mid Continent University (NAIA) Western KY. Don't really know anything about the school, except the coach is a very impressive young guy. From a recruiting perspective, he's persistent, believes in his program and guys, and a very honest fellow. I just feel like he'll do things for the program.

Northern KY University (DII). Near Cincinnati, OH. Nice campus. State school. Very honest and pleasant coach who is fairly laid back in his style. Decent field/facility - on campus.

If you have any questions about any schools in KY, please PM me - I'd be happy to share whatever I know.
