That's a bit outdated. They set a school record for wins this year. My son is an infielder at SNHU and I'd be happy to answer any questions.

What year is your son? What is their need at middle infield in the near future?

Holden thanks for reminding me to update my site, that was 2010 record - I guess it should read - They finished 25-22 last season and Southern New Hampshire set a single-season school record for victories in 2011 while finishing above .500 for the first time since 1997. The conference, one of the nation's best, featured five 30-win teams.

Holden could you please give some insight from the parent and player side of the baseball program and the school. Thanks

Pitching Coach Cory Muscara is back at SNU after spending this past year with Binghamton. Program and the school are extending the commitment to baseball. We had one of our guys in the infield for them this past year also.

Sandman, The 2b was a freshman and the SS was all-conference and a sophomore. Any other questions I'd be happy to answer via PM.

My son is attending SNHU as a freshman this fall. Recruited as a dual roll player OF/P. Coach Loiseau was great through the entire process. Calls my son often and came to one of my sons high school games this spring to watch him play. Nice baseball and sports facilities and up and coming program.

Who knew? Southern New Hampshire U gets more posts to it's thread than Arizona, Uconn, Purdue, TCU, UCSB, K-State, Utah, Mississippi State, Mich. State and the likes...

Agree with the posts here about SNHU. Up and coming baseball program with great young coaches & growing campus. Was 1 of top 3 choices for my son; however, I don't think he is going to go there - found a better fit with another NE 10 school.

Can you play baseball online at SNHU? Every ad I see is for an online degree.

Only if you attend the on-line Showcase I'm putting together. 20 colleges may be there. Only $695.

I can see why it seems like it is all on line. SNHU just had a big write up in the Chronicle of Higher Ed for being very very smart about their one line programs. It saved their hide financially and the undergrad traditional education is stronger for it. Good programs in business, I think it has a BS- MBA in 5 years. Also hospitality management (I think it also has culinary??) plus all of the traditional majors. Good learning support for students with LDs. Comfortable, safe campus.

Also one of the more highly regarded sports managment programs in the Northeast. The online courses are greeat in the summer and the credit hours are cheaper than on-campus classes during the school year.

Bring this thread up to date...SNHU finished the regular season 38-12 but failed to qualify for the conference championship as strong conference opponents beat each other up in the last 3rd of the year. They were selected as the 1 seed in the NCAA DII Eastern region and finished as Champions and have advanced to the DII World Series. Another terrific year for Coach Loiseau. In his 4 years the program has gone from a joke to respectability as quality recruits are playing great baseball!
