Correct. Dean didn't get the "Win" as in the official stat... As I said, he helped collect win 1 for Coach Finwood at ODU.

I guess we should add that...

2 Hampton Roads guys combined for 10 shutout innings in the doubleheader for ODU Friday...

Brett Harris - Hickory/ODU - 5 IP, H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K

Ben Tomchick - Princess Anne/ODU - 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K

Good start for many locals this week/weekend.
Andrew Flaherty pitched 2 innings of no hit ball for Army vs High Point this weekend

Cody Cox is 2-0 for Louisburg JC and is a weekend starter.

Danny Grauer is the starting catcher and #4 hitter for Liberty. He had 3 RBI's in his first game vs U of Richmond and got a save in his first time on the mound since High School vs The Citadel.

Brandon Smith, a Great Bridge grad actually got the win. Great game and Dean did a great job, but that is baseball!
Although we expect many great outings from Dean! He looks very good on the mound! Takes after his mother!

HUH!!!

We too are VERY glad to hear Cody Cox is not only doing great things on the field but in the classroom as well :-)

Buck,

Very happy to hear Cody is doing well. I hope he keeps it going!

Ditto. Good to see Cody is getting it done down there. That's great news.

Thanks Smith, Brian and Rob.
It's been a breath of fresh air to say the least. I think Cody making the Deans List was our proudest moment as parents. We are thankful that Coach Mac gave Cody a second chance.
