Today at the Stanford camp we did the sparq testing. I looked online and couldn't find out the baseball sparq testing rating on the main website or anywhere online.

Does anyone know the rating formula?

I'm 164 lbs
3.78 30
6.76 60 (slow for me)
42 med ball throw
4.51 20 yard shuttle
29 vert jump

What would my rating be? are these times good?

there used to be an online computer in nikes website...can't find now, but will look and post if i do. Based on my limited knowlege..yes thise are good #'s. Speed and agility is good - very good, vertical jump pretty good, but 32+ is v good. 36+ excellent. powerball is medium. But it all depends on your age as well - for a freshman they would be excellent...senior pretty good. From what I remember when looking on the site, and playing around with the different #'s, speed and agility are the 2 most important criteria. Just like anyone who can hit with power has a leg up. But in this case it's just a diagnostic tool to screen "athletes"; it really doesn't account for the many intangibles that are required to be successful at baseball. And its a great way for Nike to promote exclusivity and make a lot of $$$$$. They will most likley post results and let you compare a little later. It's big in California, I think; just getting foothold around the country.
