I've been going to Tom Pukstys for speed and agility training for almost three months and in my opinion its definitely been worth it. I've been to Don Beebee (Yorkville) and Graf Speed Enhancement (Joliet) and they are also very good. However, I think TP Sports is the most convenient and offers the best all around workout. TP sports also offers vertical leap and throwing lessons even though I admit I have been to either. Reasons why I feel it is definitely the best alternative...
- lessons times are very flexible...2 separate 1 hr. long lessons and 6 days a week to choose from
-incorporates weights and explosive movements regularly in workouts
- progress checked through electronic timers rather than handheld, which can be manipulated or inaccurate
- rubber track surface will be there within the next few weeks

For anyone that doesn't know Tom, he is a workaholic that pushes the athletes. He went through vigorous training in his track career at Florida University and in the Olympics....

I'm not sure how many people know about it. Even though things worked out fine for me, I still wish I knew about it earlier...speed is one of the five tools...

Like I said both Graf and Beebee are great at what they do and have a huge base of knowledge on speed. Beebee's and TP sports' are very similar in their programs/workouts. They also have less athletes training at the same time = more attention. Also, let me stress the importance of electric timing...it is exactly the same every time (unlike handheld = variables). I would only consider going back to Tim Graf if

A.) he started using electronic timers
B.) he measured off the distance of the 40 yards right in front of me
C.)he gives me his word my time will not be manipulated...

I actually want to be faster in the games, not just cuz he felt like giving me a good time that day. According to Mr. Graf, I was on the verge of breaking the 4.4 barrier and into the 4.3's last summer! With Tom's electronic equipment, I have INCREASED my speed to the 4.8 range electronically, which converts to the high 4.5's or low 4.6's handheld. Notice I promise you I have gotten faster since last summer. I now understand why everyone who goes to Graf runs "legitimate 4.4's" and anyone who runs track runs in the "4.3 range." Someone should enter these Joliet speedsters into the NFL Draft.

Another case and point...a friend of mine who is a blonde, caucasion 6'3, 250 lb. defensive lineman who will be playing at a D1AA college has been clocked at 4.65 by Graf Speed Enhancement. This same player has trained with Tom with the electronic system and was at the 5.2-5.3 range electronically converting to a 4.9-5.0 handheld. I am looking at the Tom Lemming Prep Football Report right now with the nation's top prep football recruits and the fastest defensive lineman on Lemming's dream team runs a 4.8. Why isn't this blonde haired 250 lb "road-runner" going to USC, FSU, or say Oklahoma?? I'm sure they'd love to have a 4.65 defensive lineman with that kind of size..I highly recommend TP Sports and have nothing but good things to say about Beebee.
Proven Product or fraud??????? noidea
