Not sure where this will go but was wondering what would happen if a PLAYER was given free gear from a company. This would be considered sponsorship wouldn't it? Is there a college elibility issue with this or is there absolutely nothing wrong with it?

Dallas...You should check with your coach first; and, then, get a WRITTEN opinion from the Texas High School Athletic Association (or whatever you call it).

Major colleges get free equipment/uniforms all the time and there is no problem because the coach or school have contracts with the sporting goods provider to outfit the school and to provide equipment.

Better be safe than sorry. Get it in writing from your high school association before you accept anything while you are a high schooler.

alright i will thanks... but its not Dallas, TX... its Dallas, PA small town haha by wilkes-barre if anyone knows that place too
