Yes, it is possible. But alot of it is going to determined by the schools you've already applied to.

Continue to communicate with coaches about your high school schedule, and summer travel baseball schedule. If you get a chance, go to a camp for a school that has genuine interest and/or schools that you have applied to.

If you applied D3, try to get the coaches interest ASAP. Remember, you can walk on in the Fall as a non-recruited athlete. At the very least, if you get his attention, he will know who you are.

Good luck.

Keep doing what you'd do prior to the Spring season. Get seen wherever possible. Have him keep contacting the schools he's interested in. Changes happen to rosters everywhere and all the time. If they have an unexpected opening they will remember the persistant player.

And yes, it is possible to get signed even after graduation. Not common, but possible.

Since the high school spring season is approaching fast, what should a high school senior do that hasn't signed yet get looked at by college coaches, is it even possible to get signed is to late??
How good is your son versus other recruits? How hard does he throw? How fast does he run the sixty? Does your son have a school or summer ball coach with contacts and/or a reputation to speak up for your son? Is there a pro scout that can speak up for your son? There are always D3 programs still looking for players. But if he wants to get into a competitive program (D1 to D3) the coach needs to see something standout he can use in the program. I've seen late bloomers have breakout senior seasons and receive guaranteed walk on offers.

I was wondering the same thing? I thought all "phenoms" are already signed?

BaseballPhenom is a 2011 senior in high school. Perhaps he could/should have picked a different moniker? But he's asking for help and I'll take a stab at it. First of all, it's not too late. What position do you play? Are you looking at D1, D2, or D3? Have you applied to colleges already? I don't know how the recruiting landscape on the east coast works, but I've seen players sign D1 scholarships at some very good baseball schools in our area just prior to the summer...it happens.

Has your HS and/or travelball coach(es) contacted any schools for you? Keep working hard on and off the field. Contact the schools of interest, preferably those that you'd have a shot to play for and that will accept you academically. Send a copy of your spring schedule. Good Luck!

They can get in that late if the baseball team wants them even if they never applied to the school?

A player committed after his senior season was completed to a PAC 10 school out of my son's league in 2009. Last season, a pitcher from my son's team committed to a Big West school half way through the season. Did they apply to the school's prior to the deadline? I honestly don't know, but I have heard it's possible to get in if they really want you.
