Spring Trips

I know there is a "I'll See You There" forum but after looking at it I don't think everyone is including their Spring trips and/or participates in the forum. The one neat thing about this site are the good baseball people that participate and their passion for the game and their families.

Lets open up and say where we're going this Spring. Not only can we meet other travelers but our destinations may land in other HSBBW members back yards. While posting opens conversation, there is nothing better in life than an eye-2-eye handshake, and a high-5 in a bleacher after good play with a "familiar stranger".

Since I know you folks are smarter than to visit my neck of the woods in Feb-March-April, where is everyone else going?

Are you trying to make us jealous? Anyways congrats!

Well the college team is going to be stuck having to go to U of Hawaii during their road trip during spring break (3/19-3/22).

March 6-15 Annapolis, MD SpringBreak Series (7 games)
VS Iona, Rhode Island, Central CT State, Virginia, MD Eastern Shore, Monmouth, Maine, Dusquesne


March 16-24 Tampa/Clearwater Philadelphia Phillies Spring Training (don't know if the AF is gonna' let him go yet, but I'm gonna' be there!)

HR04... USD or UCSD going to Hawaii? Sure hope you're booked.

Let's see... a Classic Surprise in late Feb.,
Irvine in mid March -I'm bringing a salt lick and some fire ants for the great antlered anteater.
On to Hawaii for spring break (should I bring back a t-shirt or pearls for my wife HR04?)
Perhaps a stop in NorCal for a beer, a glass of Bordeaux, and a midweek game with JB and infielddad.
Then back to the sunny confines of NM for a trip down to Las Cruces.
Let's see...did I leave anyone out?

TOAD SUCK DAZE FESTIVAL IN CONWAY, ARKANSAS




Traditionally held in downtown Conway the first weekend in May, Toad Suck Daze will celebrate its 27th year in 2008. The family oriented festival is free to the public, and attendance is over 150,000 every year.

The festival boasts Arts & Crafts, Food, Local and National Entertainment, Toad Kids Zone, Carnival Rides, Tour de Toad bicycle race, Toad Jam Basketball tournament, Toad Run 5/10K, Toad Pageant, Business Expo, Stuck on a Truck, a Toad Store, and the World Famous Toad Races held in the Toad Dome!

A fun time will be had by all! Out-of-towners are especially welcomed!
